TC Hero October Article - Trailer News, Casting Call and More!

Hey there TC Hero community and welcome to the October 2023 article! Today we have a lot of news to discuss, ranging from the casting call to talking about the trailer and even beyond! Then, to end things off, me, the creator will end it off with a special letter to you all. So without further ado, let's get right into it! 🙌

CASTING CALL PHASE TWO With the auditions now coming to a close, we have now reached the final stage of casting: selection! We are currently going through all of the auditions you have sent to us and will be selecting who will be the ones to represent the characters seen in the casting call! We even have a deadline for that, which we are excited to share with all of you. Last time we did the casting call, it took us months to select three voice actors. This time around, we promise it won't take that long. Currently, we have a flexible deadline of by the end of next month. It might seem like a long time, but I thought it would be for the best to not be too specific with it, so it's not too stress inducing but soon enough so you guys won't have to wait another million years. In fact, I do believe that it won't even take all the way to the end of November. Basically, it'll be sometime next month, some of you may even receive a message this month.

So in conclusion, get excited, because the time for selection and reveals is not far away.

TRAILER UPDATE

So where the heck is the trailer at?! Wasn't it supposed to be like... months ago..? Yes, it was and sorry for not meeting the deadline. A lot happened during the time of production. Is the trailer still going to come out? Absolutely. 100%. Without a doubt. In fact, I'm still working on it, although a little slowly. During production I suffered some very intense burnout (turns out trying to create an animated series almost on your own requires a lot of energy) and after suffering from that I've decided to focus more on my mental health. At the moment the trailer has now entered a slow and steady production rate. I'm making sure to keep a steady pace, but while taking frequent breaks and detaching myself from the project every now and again. Also trying to make an effort to contact friends and spend time with them. I realized that I have a life lol. Although TC Hero is essentially my life's work, it is okay and healthy to not think about it all the time. I've always had the mentality of if I'm not creating something, I'm wasting time. I have now realized how destructive that can be to a person's mental health. I promise, I'll try my best to take care of my mental health, so that not only can I have fun with this project but that you guys may also be able to enjoy a well refined product, made with love. 💙

HOL UP, WHO DIS

Hold on, who's this?? A new character perhaps??? That's right! I would like to introduce you all to the amazing, powerful... yellow silhouette..? Yeah, not giving names out yet! Although some of you may already know who this is if you were in the first casting call... 🤫 After the trailer has come out, I'm planning to go ahead and reveal who this mysterious guy is! Played by the awesome Ellis Knight, this guy may be the second most important character in the whole series. Can't wait to reveal him to all of you! He's definitely one of my favourite characters I've ever created!

BEYOND THIS YEAR

We're now reaching the end of this article, but before I completely close it off, I want to leave you guys a little message. To all of you who have expressed interest in my project... thank you. 💙 The fact that so many of you have expressed interest in my little world, despite me not having shown much means the world to me. I promise, I'll continue to try my best to make this series a reality. I can't wait for next year. Production on a very special piece of TC Hero will begin as soon as the trailer is finished.
